You know that feeling when you spot the perfect vintage find online, and you just have to have it? Well, I had one of those moments the other day, and let’s just say it didn’t quite live up to the hype. The listing said “in tidy condition”, but apparently, that meant something entirely different to the seller. When the item arrived, it was more “held together by duct tape and hope” than “tidy and useable condition”. 

I should’ve known better than to trust those vague descriptions. But hey, at least I got a good laugh out of the whole experience!  One must take the positives out of these incidences. Anyone else out there been let down by purchasing something that didn’t quite live up to your expectations?
