But in all seriousness, what’s the difference between a true collector and a hobbyist? Is there even such a thing as too many weather gadgets? 🤔 

As a self-proclaimed barometer buff, I can tell you that true collectors are in it for the thrill of the hunt. It’s not just about amassing as many items as possible – it’s about the journey, the research, the hunt for rare and unique pieces. 

Hobbyists, on the other hand, might start off with good intentions but end up just… well, hoarding. Sure, 88 barometers is impressive, but at a certain point you’ve got to ask yourself – do I really need this many ways to measure the air pressure?
